Goals are the most important, most simple, most effective way that we can take control of our lives and truly accomplish our purpose. There is a book that I am currently reading (for the 3rd time) called, "Goal" by Brian Tracy. This is by far one of the best books and most effective books that I have read in my life. This book breaks down the different aspects of ones lives and explains frameworks you can use to ensure you are achieving goals in all and all of your goals are aligned (more to come on this back in a later post).
The act of setting goals can be daunting, time consuming, or just plain all out scary. On the flip side goals can offer us so much needed:

The more detailed and precise that your goal is, the better your brain will analyze the steps in order to achieve this (aka "Law of Attraction" - more to come in another post). A few tips to get you started on setting your goals:
1. ) Make sure your goals are put into a "S.M.A.R.T." format
S - specific
M - measurable
A - achievable
R - realistic
T - timely

2.) Accomplish one goal, then set the bar higher
3.) Know your progress, be honest, and appreciate your success
4.) Be positive, and have confidence in yourself.....ALWAYS!!
5.) Last but not least just remember:
It's a dream until you write it down, and then its a goal.
